Vinyasa- When translated from Sanskrit, vinyasa means breath synchronized movement.  By linking movement and breath, this class will have you flowing through poses in a creative and energetic way. You will build strength, gain flexibility and achieve balance in the mind and body. The added heat detoxifies the body and opens up the muscles, allowing you to get deeper into your stretches.

Ashtanga- This is a dynamic practice that connects the flow of breath with movement. This Ashtanga rooted class will focus on the Primary Series, modified to suit the individual needs of each student. Students will be given clear alignment cues and hands on adjustments to assist them deeper in a safe way.  Ashtanga Yoga was popularized by K. Pattabhi Jois in the early 20th century. A strong emphasis is placed on practicing all eight limbs of Ashtanga Yoga, not merely asana (posture) alone. Ashtanga is a meditative practice designed to detox and purify the body, the nervous system, and the mind by combining asana (posture), pranayama (breath), and dristhi (gaze). We know that every student’s practice is different, and it is our mission to bring an accessible approach to the practice of Ashtanga to our community.

Gentle- This session will allow you to connect your breath to your movement and pause in stretches for moments of meditation. The added warmth from our heaters will allow you to get deeper into your stretches. 

Barre- Enjoy this low-impact but challenging class, designed to achieve lean muscle. The ballet barre is used to sculpt the lower body, abs and for flexibility training.

Reiki with Cat

Reiki means “Universal Life Energy.” It’s a practice that uses the body’s natural ability to heal itself- physically, emotionally and spiritually. Reiki energy is present everywhere and in all living things. This energy is channeled from higher areas of consciousness known as Spirit, God, Universe, Source…It moves through the Reiki Practitioner, and into the three aspects of the recipient- their body, mind and spirit.      

Reiki is received through the chakras that are directly connected to your own nervous system. Every cell in the body is so wise. Cells are the base of our physical life and hold a natural ability for us to heal from within. What happens during Reiki is that the cells of the body pull the energy that’s needed through the practitioner’s hands. You can pull in as much Reiki energy as you need to normalize the natural flow of your own Universal Life Energy and get into relationship with the language of your body.

Massage with Crystal 

Meet Crystal, licensed massage & neuromuscular therapist. She will be offering 1 hour massages at the studio all day long twice a month. Neuromuscular Therapy is soft tissue manipulation similar to that of myofascial release. It helps to release trigger points, deep muscular tension, and fascial congestion. It is also very effective in treating most chronic pain and degenerative muscle conditions. If time allows for it I like to do a fusion of this and a regular Swedish or deep tissue (depending on desired depth of pressure) so that you still get the release where you need it but also get the benefits of a deep relaxation.

Myofascial Release with Morgan
$75 + $25 MFR ball purchase if needed 

In this class we will couple a slow flowing practice with myofascial release. Myofascial release (MFR) using RAD balls helps us release tension, create greater range of motion, and encourages hydration of our tissues while targeting our fascia. Fascia is its own living, communicating, interconnected system that thrives from our head to our toes. It surrounds every muscle and every organ, so not only does it connect us, it protects us as well! MFR will be used before, during, and after the practice so that you’re able to feel the difference in poses that you practice weekly.
